Dr. Martha Chesnutt, Executive Physician, Internal Medicine
Boice-Willis Clinic Martha Chesnutt, MD practices Internal Medicine at Boice-Willis Clinic where she also serves as the Executive Physician. She graduated from Brody School of Medicine, Greenville NC and completed her residency at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. She is very active member of the medical community as she currently serves on the boards of Curi, Carolina Complete Health Network, and The Accountable Care Organization. |
Taylor Lancaster, MSN, RN
Director of Case Management PAM Health Following graduation from Edgecombe Community College in 2013, Taylor Lancaster started her career as a medical floor registered nurse at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital. She continued her education, obtaining her BSN from East Carolina University in 2015 and MSN with a concentration in Leadership from Barton College in 2017. Taylor then embarked on a career in long-term care as she became an MDS Coordinator at Edgecombe Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was quickly promoted to Resident Care Management Director. In her role as director, she has been able to apply her knowledge from both the acute care and long-term care settings to help patients as they navigate through the continuum of care. |
Julie Szczypkowski,
Nurse Practitioner UNC Health Nash Julie received her undergraduate degree in nursing from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. After graduation, she worked for six years at UNC in the Medical ICU. During this time Julie gained a lot of experience in having difficult family conversations regarding end-of-life and goals of care. These experiences prompted her to go back to school to pursue her nurse practitioner degree. Julie graduated from UNC-CH in 2012 with her MSN-Adult Nurse Practitioner and started work as a hospitalist. Julie has been a hospitalist at UNC Health Nash since 2015. |

Rocky Mount Medical Park Pharmacy Thomas is a 4th generation Community Pharmacist and owner of McDowell’s Pharmacy in Scotland Neck, NC and Rocky Mount Medical Park Pharmacy in Rocky Mount, NC. McDowell’s Pharmacy has been owned and operated by the McDowell family for over 100 years. Amy Trull, RN, BSN
Care Coordinator, Boice-Willis Clinic Amy has 13 years of nursing experience with the majority of her practice in Emergency Medicine and Quality Improvement. Amy has created and developed several programs to improve patient care throughout the hospital setting and community. Amy is a Rocky Mount native and resides in the community with her husband and two sons. Her favorite things to do are to educate, coach her son’s soccer teams, and spend time at the Lake. |
Dr. Michelle Shriver, MD
Medical Director PAM Specialty Hospital Dr. Shiver graduated from the University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1987. She works in Rocky Mount, NC and 3 other locations and specializes in Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine and Other Specialty. Dr. Shiver is affiliated with Nash General Hospital. She has received awards for Intern of the year, Board of Governors Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society, Phi Lambda Upsilon Honorary Chemical Society Joseph E. Pogue Scholar, Rhodes Scholar nominee. She has other hospital privileges at Next Care and is the Medical Director at Pam Specialty of Rocky Mount. She is an avid teacher and mentor for many upcoming students in the healthcare profession and sits on several local hospital/committee boards. Dr. Shiver loves to give back to the community. |
Danielle Waugaman,
Manager, Case Management UNC Health Nash Danielle Waugaman MSN, RN, CMGT-BC, NE-BC is the Director of Population Health and Patient Transitions at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Danielle has been a registered nurse for over 18 years with clinical experience in cardiology and neurology. After several years of clinical leadership, Danielle transitioned her leadership skills to the areas of case management, discharge planning and care coordination. Danielle leads her organization’s care coordination efforts with a focus on efficiency while ensuring the best outcomes for the patients served in her community. That work encompasses working across service lines within the hospital and her role as a facilitator for a community collaborative of local agencies and facilities to ensure seamless transitions between levels of care for the patients served at Nash UNC Health Care. |

Logan Pressey, Registered Dietician
Boice-Willis Clinic Logan is Registered Dietitian and a part of Boice-Willis’ Health Education team. She is local to the Rocky Mount area and completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship through Meredith College in Raleigh. As a part of the Health Education team, Logan helps patients navigate the nutritional management of conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, weight loss, and a variety of other disease states. |
Robyn Perkerson, RN
CEO PAM Specialty Hospital Robyn's healthcare career started as a CNA working at Wake Med in 1988. She attended Nash Community College and completed the LPN program in 1991 and completed the RN in 1992. Since that time, she has worked in home health, Trauma and Critical Care. Over the next 24 years, she worked her way to being promoted to the positions of Nurse Manager, Director of Clinical Services, Chief Clinical Officer and ultimately Chief Executive Officer in 2014. She currently oversee the successful operations of PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount, a 50 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital that accepts critically ill, medically complex patients and we are proud to be a part of the health care continuum in Nash County. |
Dr. Joanna Dauber
UNC Health Nash Dr. Joanna Dauber is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College where she studied Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology and Economics. After finishing a post baccalaureate program at Temple University, she obtained her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed a Family Medicine residency from Christiana Care in Wilmington, DE, training at the largest healthcare system in Delaware. She is Board certified in Family Medicine as well as Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Dr. Dauber has a special interest in women’s health including menopause medicine, preventative care, and pelvic pain. She completed her North American Menopause Certification in 2021 and was honored as their Irwin J. Kerber Endowment recipient in 2022. |

Amy Winham, MHA, PT Director, Value Based Transition Boice-Willis Clinic Amy is passionate about Population Health, especially in our community. She was born in Rocky Mount and really enjoys serving the community which has given so much to her over the years. She received her BS in Physical Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill and practiced as a licensed physical therapist for 15 years. She later received her master’s in health administration from Pfeiffer University. She worked at UNC Nash Health Care for 13 years serving in various roles including Director of Performance Improvement and Director of Service and Operational Excellence. In her current role at Boice-Willis Clinic, she collaborates with her internal colleagues at Boice-Willis as well as her external community partners and payers to help promote wellness, foster a positive patient/family experience, and reduce health care costs. |
