Minority Economic Development Committee

Kimberly Hickerson - Committee Chair
The Minority Economic Development Committee (M.E.D.C.) provides economic empowerment and leverage resources to serve the minority business community. We create alliances with strategic partners that provide access for minority businesses to have financial sustainability and to build foundational structures, while advocating for economic pathways to promote a better quality of life.
"2023 promises to be a year of collaboration and partnership. The M.E.D.C. is looking forward to introducing ourselves, providing educational opportunities and sharing resources with the many amazing minority business owners in the greater Rocky Mount Area. We want to know who you are, what you need to be successful and how the M.E.D.C. can be of service to you. Exciting days are ahead!"
