Growth in Convenient stores will continue and likely see two additional locations in our city over coming year.  Family Fare currently under construction adjacent to Gardner’s BBQ on Hwy 301 N.

The Grocery industries will expand with current trend showing food at home (grocery Retail) out-performing food away from home(restaurant). “Retail has proven to be one of the United States’ most dependable industries. Depending on how the data is categorized, it is either the country’s first or second-largest employer. Despite the rise of e-commerce, the long-term trajectory has been growth for retail sales and jobs.”
