EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA'S LARGEST EXPO IS BACK
Business Expo 2003, sponsored by the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held this year on Tuesday, October 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the former Wal-Mart of Rocky Mount on North Wesleyan Boulevard. Admission is free.
The 15th annual show is the largest one-day trade show in eastern North Carolina, reflecting the latest in business trends, new ideas, and products, as well as giving participants a chance to make personal contact with more than 200 businesses. Corporate presenting sponsors this year are Wal-Mart and Nash Health Care Systems.
"What better place for companies to exhibit their products and services to fellow businesses and to the general public. This is an opportune time to network with suppliers and customers, to enhance the organization's visibility in a multi-county marketplace, and to renew and expand business relationships," said Expo Chairman John Kincheloe. "We are pleased to announce again this year a free park and ride shuttle service, compliments of Bill Lumpp at Travel Rent-A-Car," adds Kincheloe. "This will allow guests to park in the rear parking lot of Premier Theater and be delivered to the front door of the Expo between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m."
A past Expo exhibitor David Farris concurs with Kincheloe's remarks and adds, "It's more than just a Business Expo - it's the business signature event of the yea! Whether it's financial services or business services, soft drinks or software, computers or cars, there seems to be something for everybody. Exhibitors at the Expo represent a cross section of Rocky Mount's business community. We'll be there."
Wachovia and Outback Steakhouse will be co-sponsoring the Business Symposium and Luncheon. A Business After Hours is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of the Expo sponsored by Braswell Milling Company, Carolina Eagle Distributing, Chick-fil-A, and RBC Centura.
