The Chamber’s educational initiatives are determined by the involvement, input and direction of business and education leaders and partners, and is reviewed annually at the planning retreat to ensure a consistent focus toward workforce preparedness for our region’s businesses. Periodic forums occur to study issues, impact and solutions to guide The Chamber’s actions and advocacy on these issues. The
Chamber is also an advocate for the Down East Partnership for Children's Early Childhood Development Programs and for the program Futures For Kids, which promotes and engages students in career paths.
