  • Member Services:  The Chamber provides notary services, Notary Public service, Certificate of Origin service, Area Guide & Directory of all members, member mailing lists/labels, area demographic package, site specific research and Cost of Living Index information used in recruitment of new business and professionals, Chamber Conference room rental, committee opportunities, volunteerism opportunities, ribbon cuttings and grand opening support, and new member orientations on the work of The Chamber. 
  • Networking:  It's still the main reason businesses join The Chamber.  Chamber events enable you to meet potential customers, clients or vendors as well as key business leaders, which could result in possible business opportunities.  Chamber Business After Hours are a free event for the membership to attend and are hosted monthly to showcase a business, new location or celebration, offering opportunity to expand business contacts.  As a Chamber member, you will also receive a free business directory listing on The Chamber website, which receives over 10,000 page views per month, with a link to your website.  You can also gain new customer leads with our Online Info / Quote Service.
  • Knowledge/Information:  Through targeted small business programs, you'll learn important information from other businesses that can benefit your business and can increase your access to information using Chamber demographic or economic profiles to plan marketing strategies and using the online business directory to increase your prospect base.  The Lunch and Learn Series - a series of business seminars, provides valuable programs and workshops on an assortment of business-related topics to help members maintain a competitive advantage.  We offer value-priced training opportunities with our seminars & webinars.  You may also showcase your expertise through our "Ask the Expert" articles published on The Chamber Website, as well as in The Chamber E-News.
  • Enhance Leadership Skills:  Increase your company's competitive edge by taking advantage of The Chamber's great community leadership program - Leadership Rocky Mount, and be a part of the emerging young leadership base for a prepared community for the future.
  • Contribute to a better work force:  With the assistance of our members, The Chamber continues to partner with local schools and area colleges to provide local business owners with skilled, qualified employees.
  • Invest in a healthy economy:  Relocation or expansion of companies means more jobs and more potential customers for you.  Investing in The Chamber helps the Rocky Mount area promote quality growth.
  • Gain visibility and exposure:  Each member is listed alphabetically and categorically in the Business Directory and Visitor's Guide and is listed in The Chamber's website Business Directory - www.rockymountchamber.org.  The Chamber is often the first point of contact with over 2700 annual inquiries on area businesses and services.  As a Chamber member you have the option of free online coupon posting, job postings, and free press release postings. The Chamber makes referrals for Chamber members.  The Chamber also serves as the region's Relocation Center, providing newcomers and prospective residents with information about moving to Nash and Edgecombe Counties and can promote the products and services of Chamber-member businesses.
