Ambassadors Program

If you recognize these faces that's because they are a few of your Chamber Ambassadors-Ambassadors of Distinction.

These Ambassadors have worked very hard engaging with the members they serve, being at ribbon cuttings and events, as well as assisting The Chamber in encouraging their members to gain the maximum advantage from their membership.

On behalf of The Chamber, a corps of 40 volunteer Ambassadors is actively engaged throughout the year with member visitations, working and supporting our events & ribbon cuttings and other volunteer duties.  They are the lifeblood of your Chamber and give countless hours of volunteer service on behalf of their respective businesses.  Next time you see one, be sure to thank them for all they do and the service their businesses allow them to perform for us all.

Thank you!  We appreciate your service to The Chamber, its members and our community!

Bill has served client needs through his early association with one of the largest international CPA firms to owning and operating two CPA firms in eastern North Carolina that have comprised a total of 25 years.  The basis for his services now in business valuations, most tax related matters and fractional CFO services was developed throughout his years of serving individuals and the businesses they operate through his public accounting firms.  Additionally, he has been responsible for budgeting, corporate taxes and special financial projects for one of the banks that is currently a component of RBC Bank and has been the Chief Financial Officer for a multi-discipline agriculture production and processing operation.

Outside of the financial services arena, Bill was an elected official for eight years and Chairman of the local Board of Health for eighteen years in the community in which he resides.

Erin Gall is a native of Virginia, but has lived in Rocky Mount for the past 11 years.  She came to Rocky Mount to attend NC Wesleyan, where she graduated with a degree in History.  While at Wesleyan she met her husband, John.  After graduating, she worked as an Admissions Counselor for the college for a couple of years.  Enjoying the personal contact with individuals, but missing her family during time away traveling, she joined the Allegra team in January of 2008 as a Sales Representative.  Almost immediately, she began volunteering with The Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador and currently as an Ambassador Team Leader.  Erin is an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she serves as a 6th grade Sunday School teacher.  However, her most important job is being a mother to her daughter, Cadi, who will be starting the second grade next year.

Trudy Lynn is a real go-getter and serves as an Ambassador Team Leader, working with six additional Ambassadors and encouraging her team's efforts working with their Chamber members.  Trudy was the Edgecombe Community College Small Business Director for 11 years until her promotion in recent years to the Director of Special Programs in the Continuing Education Division at the College.  Trudy excels at her role with The Chamber giving countless hours of volunteer time and support to Chamnber members and was the 2010 Ambassador of the Year recipient.
